Victory Riders Calgary

Meeting Minutes

June 23, 2019 @ Denny’s NW Calgary @ 9:30 am

Prez Kelly (CCT), VP DrifterDon (CC), Secretary Karen (CCT), Ride Captain Tony (Highball).

Kelly called the meeting to order after we’d finished our delicious breakfasts.

Introductions were made around the table: Also in attendance were Mike and KD (CCT), John (Vision), John (Kingpin), Wes (CCT), Steve (Kingpin) and Trish (HD Heritage). Total of eleven in attendance.

Two Wheel Sunday

Don reported on the success of the event. The Victory Riders will likely be turning over their involvement in the Show n Shine to the Indian Riders (Calgary IMRG 1908) and moving forward in other ways of participation.

It was suggested to have a Victory Riders Calgary booth to display the various models of Victory motorcycles that our members ride. Even looking outside the restaurant on the rainy day of this meeting we had 5 different models in the parking lot!

Challenge Coins

Don reported that the Challenge Coins have been ordered.

Rides and Events

There will be a group riding to Drumheller for the VooDoo HooDoo if you aren’t able to be there for the whole weekend.

Dates and information for all rides is on the Club Rides and Events calendar on the website

Some members are riding to a USA Victory Rally, Sturgess Bike Week and even Rally in the Valley in Eastend, SK!

Other Business

Karen said that she had recently replaced the bushings on her shifter and brake and was going to be ordering a spare set. Others were interested in doing a group order so she is going to hold off doing the order until the minutes are sent out and folks have a chance to order.

• If you are interested in getting a set of brass bushings, the cost is $40 US dollars plus your share of shipping. Let Karen know by Friday, July 5th if you would like to be included in the order from Witchdoctor.

The meeting was adjourned and the hardy rain riders ventured through many construction areas to Drifter Don’s house.
